Janet Solowoniuk began her art career in 2001 as a professional tattoo artist, working with some of the finest people and artists in the city. With many years of creating art on bodies, in 2020 Janet transitioned to focus on creating art on wood and canvas.
Janet's love of portraiture (both animals and human) lies in capturing the life in the subjects eyes & face, their emotion, their sadness, joy, & humor. "What my painting is all about? Heart."
